Crossgates Mall is boarded on the South by Western Ave. and on the North by Washington Ave. You exit Crossgates to Washington Ave. West. Go to the light and the Polish Community Center is on your right. (i.e. turn right off of Washington Ave. and immediately turn left into the PCC entrance.
From the Thruway take Exit 24 to I-90 East. From I-90 take the Fuller Road Exit South to Washington Ave. Turn right on Washington Ave. and go West about 1 mile (past Crossgates Shopping Mall on your left) to the Polish Community Center.
A short-cut from the Northway is to take 2W onto Central Ave. West and then turn left onto Lincoln Ave. Lincoln Ave. goes all the way to Washington Ave. (it's a bit dark and winding but it's a direct route with less traffic).
Best Western Albany Airport Inn (Thursday Mix and Mingle): From Interstate 87(Northway). (North or South) Take Exit 4, head south on Wolf Road, to the Best Western Albany Airport Inn.
From: Interstate 90. (East or West) Take Exit 24, I 87 (Northway) to exit 4 (Wolf Road) head south on Wolf Road, to the Best Western Albany Airport Inn on the right.
Western Turnpike Golf Course: The Clubhouse at Western Turnpike is situated on Route 20 in Guilderland, NY and can be easily reached from Routes 87 (Northway), and Route 90 (Thruway). .
From the North: Make your way to I-87 (The Adironcack Northway). Head south. Proceed past exit 1 E-W, following sign to Route 20/Western Avenue. At the end of the highway, take a right and head west on route 20 (Western Avenue). Continue for approximatly 3 miles. Look for the Western Turnpike Golf Course sign on the left side of the road. Take a left and follow the access road approximately one mile to The Clubhouse.
From the East: Take I-90 West and get off at exit 1s, the last exit before the NYS Thruway toll booths. Loop around ramp and continue straight for approximately one mile. At the end of the highway, take a right and head west on route 20 (Western Avenue). Continue for approximatly 3 miles. Look for the Western Turnpike Golf Course sign on the left side of the road. Take a left and follow the access road approximately one mile to The Clubhouse.
From the South and West: Take the NYS Thruway to exit 24. After going through toll booth, take the first exit on the right. Proceed approximately one-half mile. At the end of the highway, take a right and head west on route 20 (Western Avenue). Continue for approximatly 3 miles. Look for the Western Turnpike Golf Course sign on the left side of the road. Take a left and follow the access road approximately one mile to The Clubhouse.
Tawasentha Park (Awards Picnic): Western Ave. (Rte. 20) to Rte. 146 West (at Stewart's). Tawasentha park is approximately one mile on the left.
Hanover Square (Singles Outreach Office: Monday Welcome Meeting, Workshops, Support Groups, Game Night, Discussions and more!): 435 New Karner Road, Colonie. From Exit 2W of the Northway (or the Colonie Shopping Center) go west on Central Avenue for 1.7 miles and turn right on New Karner Road (Rt. 155) just before the Rite Aid. Go about 1/2 mile. Hanover Square is on the right, set back from the road. Franklin Entrance is the Singles Outreach office. We are on the 2nd Floor.
Regional Food Bank: 965 Albany Shaker Road (just off Rte. 7)
Colonie High School: (outdoor drop-in tennis) Sand Creek Road, off of Wolf Road (behind Macy's). Turn into Colonie High School and take the first right to find the courts behind the school.
Colonie Town Park: (picnics): Take Rte. 9 north of the Latham traffic circle. Watch for the sign on the left which reads Colonie Town Park. Turn left and follow the signs. Inside the park, drive down tho the riverthen turn left up to the pavillion.
Redwood Lanes: 1541 Central Ave., near Northway exit 2W.
Frear Park, Troy: (softball): Take Rte 7or 787 to the Collar City Bridge. After the bridge, turn left at the 2nd light onto Oakwood Ave. Take Oakwood Ave. to Park Ave. Turn right into Frear Park. The softball field is located behind the tennis courts.
