Mission
Singles Outreach is a New York State not-for-profit corporation founded in 1983. Our mission is to serve the single community by providing educational and social activities in a supportive environment for personal growth and cultural enrichment.
The purpose of Singles Outreach includes the promotion of a comprehensive program of activities designed to provide adult singles with opportunities to explore new interests, increase social interaction, and develop a network of supportive friendships, as well as education on subjects relevant to single living.
Singles Outreach is governed by a Board of Directors which oversees the operation of the organization and sets goals and policies. The founding Board members were Larry Klepper, Esq., Lois Haginere, Ph.D., Randy Fasnacht, and Gregg Millett, Ph.D.
At the current time, the organization's daily operations are handled solely by volunteers. There is no paid staff. All activities are led by volunteers.
